The Rokatenda Mountain Earthquake Victim in NTT
Rokatenda Mountain on Palu Island, Flores, NTT, erupted on Saturday, 10 August 2013. More than 500 refugees whose houses were affected were evacuated to the city of Maumere. Duta Abadi Primantara (DAP) together with Bin House, a batik house in Jakarta that often helps victims of natural disasters, helped refugees by providing what they need immediately. Donations in the form of Florence® folding mattresses, medicines, baby food and other equipment were immediately sent to NTT.
DAP and Bin House certainly hoped that all of these donations could ease the burden of the refugees and they could sleep well and comfortably during the evacuation.
